Music megastar Beyoncé announced Wednesday that the highly-anticipated ‘Renaissance World Tour’ will be kicking off this spring, with 41 dates across the U.S. and Europe.

She’ll be stopping in Detroit to perform at Ford Field on Wednesday, July 26. The last time she played this venue was in 2018, when she paid tribute to the then-ill Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.

The announcement comes six months after the July 2022 release of Renaissance, her first solo studio release since 2016’s Lemonade. The album took the world by storm, bringing national attention to House music, which has roots in Detroit. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, making it her seventh Number One as a solo act, not including the two she earned as a member of Destiny’s Child.
