Ed Love is my guru. So much so, I once had a taco named after him at a taqueria I once owned in North Vancouver, Canada.
Nick Austin mentioned this on air when he was on Sundays around 2012ish. I listened to WDET at work and put it over the speakers for customers to hear. The Ed Love taco/burrito was my top seller. It had beef brisket, white cheddar, and sweet and tangy bbq sauce with creamy coleslaw.
All thanks to Ed for being the one who taught me how to love and appreciate jazz. 31 years strong I have been listening to WDET. Bless this man.
