Corrected, Sept. 28: The original headline on this article contained an editor-introduced error that incorrectly stated how many years Concert of Colors has been active. The correct number is 28. 101.9 WDET regrets the error.

Every year, the Concert of Colors brings a unique and diverse lineup of musical acts, cultures and conversations to Detroit’s summer concert scene.

This year of course, things are a little different. We can’t all gather together to share in this one-of-a-kind event. But that doesn’t mean Concert of Colors is just going away in 2020.

Listen: Ismael Ahmed joins Stephen Henderson to discuss plans for the upcoming Concert of Colors
