Comedian Erica Rhodes Looks for Love in the Cars of Strangers

The touring comic has appeared on NBC’s “Bring the Funny” and released her debut stand-up album “Sad Lemon” last year.

Erica Rhodes released her debut stand-up album “Sad Lemon” last year, reaching #1 on the iTunes comedy charts.

But her real journey has been hopping in and out of cars of strangers when touring the country, performing at comedy clubs like Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle in Royal Oak.

“You just get into a lot of random guys’ cars,” laughs Rhodes. “You meet a new club manager. You meet new comics. You meet a lot of new people every time.”
