Emma Guzman is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter that’s already made huge strides in her career.
Four years ago, I met Guzman to talk about her music. A lot has happened since then. She’s released a debut album, performed countless times and is now preparing to go to college to study journalism.
And most recently, she’s a finalist for Tidal’s musician grant program.
She came in to WDET’s Studio A to perform and talk about how she has evolved as a songwriter, her interest in journalism, preparing for college and how receiving this grant would change her future.
