Paramita Sound Moves From West Village to 1515 Broadway
WDET’s Sam Beaubien sat down with Andrey Douthard and Anna Atanassova from Paramita Sound to talk about the record stores past, their legendary monthly event The Beat Profile, and their move from West Village in Detroit to 1515 Broadway in Downtown.
Paramita Sound is known not only as a record store, but also as a space to showcase some of Detroit’s underground beat-makers with their monthly events titled The Beat Profile. Owners Andrey Douthard and Anna Atanassova talk about building out the new location at 1515 Broadway in Downtown Detroit, and they are asking the community to help by giving to their Kickstarter Campaign.
