Ian Finkelstein’s Duality/Detroit Celebrates Black History Month at MotorCity Wine

Ian Finkelstein discusses week three of his Black History Month Celebration

WDET’s Sam Beaubien sat down with keyboardist Ian Finkelstein to discuss Duality/Detroit and the month long Black History Month celebration at MotorCity Wine. The group will dedicate each performance to a genre of music that was pioneered by African American artists. Duality/Detroit is a free weekly event held on Wednesdays starting at 9pm at MotorCity Wine (1949 Michigan Ave, Detroit, MI 48216)

Week 2 (February 13th) Electronic Music, House, and Techno

Week 3 (February 20th) Jazz

Week 4 (February 27th) Hip-hop and Beat Culture
