Valentine’s Day festivities don’t have to end on Thursday.
This Saturday, the Michigan Opera Theatre presents “Alessandra Ferri: Art of the Pas Deux”—a romantic evening of ballet.
Alessandra Ferri, a legend in the ballet world, will be joined by dancers from across the country.
The performance will feature classical ballet duet performances from “Swan Lake,” “La Sylphide,” and several contemporary works.
Before the performance, attendees have the option of eating a romantic dinner at the Black Box Theatre, which the opera house is calling “Ballet with your Beloved.”
Listen to CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire speak with artistic director Marco Pelle about the performance.
