The annual Theatre Bizarre event in Detroit is made all the more exotic and exciting with Joshua James and his merrymakers known as the Theatre Bizarre Orchestra. They performed in WDET’s Studio A to promote their new album, “These Are My Friends” and Joshua James talked with Ann Delisi about being an arranger, his unusual approach to writing music and the strangest instrument he ever used.
