WDET’s Gus Navarro speaks with Chef Hardy about coming back to Detroit and the menu he’s planning.
“Detroit has always been home, you know, it’s where I’m from,” he says. “I wanted to come back and bring some of that influence that I had from Miami and New York…back to the city I love dearly.”
Hardy says he was also interested in returning to Detroit to be a part of the work being done between urban farms and the culinary world to address food insecurity in the city.
