David Bowie and Iggy Pop were hanging out in Berlin when the inspiration for Pop’s 1977 song “Nightclubbing” was written.
It’s one of his best known tracks from an album that has the influence of Bowie all over it (and a little bit of influence from Gary Glitter’s arena rock track, too).
