‘On The Table’ Looks To Improve Lives of Young People
In just a couple of days, many people throughout the southeast Michigan region will gather around tables to break bread, and have an in-depth conversation about the future for youth in our area.
The “On the Table” event on October 4th, led by the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan in partnership with the Knight Foundation, will try to identify new thought and strategies about how the lives of young people can be improved. In essence, everything is on the table.
Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan president Mariam Noland joins host Stephen Henderson on Detroit Today to discuss the “On The Table” event, and what’s at stake for kids in the region.
