Craft Breweries in Michigan Celebrate 20-Year Milestones

1997 saw a wave of craft breweries arriving in Michigan — and are still serving up suds today. Iconic local breweries like Detroit’s Atwater Brewery to Grand Rapids powerhouse Founders Brewing Co. got their start 20 years ago this year and will be celebrating this weekend at the Michigan Summer Beer Festival in Ypsilanti, which is also celebrating its own 20-year milestone.
