It’s Super Bowl weekend, and for the millions who tune in there will be touchdowns, Lady Gaga and a slew of prime time commercials. Several companies have already released their ads, and a few have had political undertones. Nato Thompson is the Artistic Director at Creative Time and the author of “Culture as Weapon.” He says companies have come a long way in advertising their products, and he predicts this year’s Super Bowl commercials will reflect that evolution.
