‘Sirens of Chrome’ Tells Tale of Women at Auto Shows

Upcoming film “Sirens of Chrome” tells inside story of cars at auto shows and the women who present them.

Traditionally events like this week’s North American International Auto Show feature new cars, glitzy presentations and glamourous fashion models, mostly females, showing-off the latest products.

Now film director John Lauri is focusing his camera lens on those models for a new drama based on their stories called “Sirens of Chrome.”

Lauri tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that the movie, the book it’s drawn from and the stories of the models themselves describe a reality that differs quite a bit from the stereotype of fashion models.
