Travelers at Metro Airport will be able to find their boarding gates using new interactive directories in the McNamara Terminal.

The large touchscreen displays allow passengers to locate the nearest restaurants and shops.

Airport spokesperson Erica Donerson says fliers can even map out a path to their boarding gates.

“We have two new interactive directories in the A-concourse and those also feature boarding pass scanners,” Donerson says. “So you just scan your boarding pass and it maps out the distance and the travel path to your gate.”

Donerson says the directories support eight different languages.

She says the airport has also improved the free terminal WIFI, increasing connection speeds by up to 12 megabits per second.
