Road Debris Can Be Deadly [Fact Sheet]

AAA study says crashes involving debris killed more than 500 drivers over four years.

A new study says road debris wreaks havoc on U.S. highways. AAA reviewed more than 200-thousand crashes involving debris over the last four years. The auto club says such accidents killed more than 500 people and injured about 39-thousand between 2011 and 2014.
