There’s a long-standing conversation around Detroit about what should be done with the ample vacant land that dots the city. Faith Fowler with Cass Community Social Services has an idea that could serve multiple purposes and she’s already moving forward with her plan in one part of the city. Fowler will build micro housing — small, individual houses — that create affordable city living for homeless residents.
