A Detroit church celebrates its 100th anniversary on Sunday.  The Russell Street Missionary Baptist Church was founded to serve African-Americans in 1916.

The Reverend Dee Dee Coleman is the pastor of the church.  She spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about the history of the institution.
