Mitch Albom and “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto”

Albom discusses his latest, unique fictional tale.

Mitch Albom and Stephen Henderson

Long-time Detroit Free Press Columnist Mitch Albom has had a “string” of best-selling nonfiction and fiction books over the years, but none were anything like his latest novel, The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto. His latest effort is coming out November 10th. It’s the story of a fictional musician who travels, Zelig-style, through the real world of 20th century music. The book is paired with a full-length album of music, some of which Albom wrote himself.

Albom joins Detroit Today host Stephen Henderson to discuss the book and listen to some of its accompanying music.
