Detroit’s Cabrini Clinic Celebrates 65 Years
The Cabrini Clinic is the country’s oldest free clinic.
The Saint Frances Cabrini Clinic in southwest Detroit is celebrating its 65th anniversary this week. The facility, connected with the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, has worked since 1950 to provide Detroiters with health care. Kelly Herron is the clinic’s Executive Director. She tells WDET’s Jerome Vaughn that the facility’s roots go back to the 1830’s.
