Detroit singer-songwriter Audra Kubat is performing at the Detroit Institute of Arts on the afternoon of August 16th, 2015. the talented, heart-felt folkster will play music off of her forthcoming record with fellow acoustic-minded mavens Emily Rose and Michelle Held. Kubat speaks with WDET’s Travis Wright about her new album, titled“ Mended Vessel,” which is is ten years in the making.
The trio swing into the studio to play “Kalkaska” and “Loving Arms” while they chat about the Detroit open-mic scene.
