Much to the dismay of avid gardeners and some homeowners, gutters, gardens, and lawns are all growing dozens of maple seedlings this year. Millions of helicopters fell this Spring and many have taken root. So what’s different about this year? WDET’s Amy Miller dug up a few answers by speaking with Dr. David Roberts, tree pathologist and senior academic specialist at Michigan State University.
