Not Too Hot, Not Too Wet: The Summer Forecast [Maps]

Flooding in Texas, Oklahoma will help moderate Detroit’s weather.

The National Weather Service's Detroit forecast office is in White Lake Township.

The recent heavy rains that flooded Texas and Oklahoma will help moderate our weather in Metro Detroit this summer. The National Weather Service forecasts a slightly warmer and slightly drier than normal season for Southeast Michigan. Meteorologist Joe Clark tells me WDET’s Pat Batcheller he expects fewer hot days than usual.
