The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is trying to raise more than four million dollars to create a water transit system. The water taxis and trollies on the Detroit River would take passengers from Cobo Hall to Gabriel Richard Park with stops at Belle Isle. WDET’s Bre’Anna Tinsley discussed the reasons behind the creation of the system with the Conservancy’s Chief Financial Officer William Smith.
