New Affirmations Director Has Deep Roots in the Community, Organization
Detroit-native Darrious Hilmon took the helm of the LGBT community center this week.

Darrious Hilmon has joined the LGBT organization Affirmations as its Executive Director. The Detroit native previously worked as the marketing director at the Mosaic Youth Theatre and the Vice President and Chief Development Officer for the Chicago Urban League. Hilmon tells WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen that it was an easy decision to come home to work at Affirmations.
