Heritage Plaza Will Commemorate Lincoln Park’s 90th Anniversary
The Lincoln Park Historical Museum will build the plaza outside its building.
Lincoln Park is celebrating its 90th anniversary by creating a Heritage Plaza next to the city’s Historical Museum. It will be a rectangular, 20 by 15-foot brick paved area available for outdoor events. Museum Curator Jeff Day says city residents can order individual bricks inscribed with the names of friends or family members.
“We’re looking at people who have been influential in the city. We’re looking at military service. We’re looking at businesses that have survived for many years here in the community.”

Day says about 30 bricks have been requested so far, but he hopes to have 100 in the plaza. He says the site will be dedicated in May.
