New Exhibit to Shine Light on Race, Economic Disparity in 1967

The Detroit Historical Society is planning an exhibit on the events during the summer of 1967 in Detroit.

The Detroit Historical Society is announcing plans for a new exhibit that will showcase the city’s civil disturbance in 1967 and its lingering effects.  The Detroit 1967 Project will commemorate the riot’s 50th anniversary. Historical Society Executive Director and CEO Bob Bury spoke with WDET’s Bre’Anna Tinsley about the project.
