As noted in their bio, the Potatohead People (Nick Wisdom & AstroLogical) are a Canadian hiphop/electronic production duo. Called a “formidable tandem” by OkayPlayer.com their sounds have been championed early on by the likes of Kaytranada, Soulection, Nightmares on Wax, Pomo, Exmag, Big Boi, and Phife Dawg. As part of his series reviewing the best releases from 2020, Nick Austin caught up with the group to discuss their 2020 release, diving into the history that served as the background for release and the interesting story behind the lyrics to the rhythmic dance track “Listen.”
