Michigan’s Aug. 4th Primary Election Results, Updated Regularly

It’s unclear when local and congressional election results will be reported for the Aug. 4th election. This page will be updated as results for Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties come in on Election Day and the days after.

Tuesday is Primary Election Day in Michigan.

Michigan Aug. 4th Election: Congressional, County Primaries

Normally, that means voting in the daytime – and WDET special coverage of election results all night long. But this year things are different. Candidates won’t have big election night gatherings, and with mail-in ballots and absentee voting most results aren’t expected to be known within a few hours of the polls closing.

That means we likely won’t have election results Tuesday night. WDET remains committed to bringing you information on Metro Detroit races – and will do so on-air and right here on wdet.org – when election results are available.
