“Rehab Addict” Nicole Curtis Is Secretly Building Houses in Detroit

With the last season of “Rehab Addict” airing in 2018, home renovation expert Nicole Curtis talks about what she has planned next — and why she hasn’t been on TV in almost two years.

Ahead of her scheduled talk at this year’s edition of TEDxDetroit, home renovation expert Nicole Curtis best known for hosting and producing eight seasons of HGTV’s “Rehab Addict” — stopped by the WDET studios in Detroit to talk about her passion for rehabbing homes in her native Michigan (Curtis hails from Lake Orion).

Curtis also discusses what put “Rehab Addict” on hiatus and her plans for a new version of the program she hopes to launch in the future.

“We’ve still been building houses secretly in Detroit. We’re just starting to film again,” says Curtis. “We’ve developing a lot of new things to it.”
