From South London to Detroit: Jordan Rakei Talks Motown Influences Ahead of El Club Show

Jordan Rakei has been a pillar of South London’s jazz and neo-soul scenes since 2014. Now, he brings his new album, “Origin,” to Detroit.

Jordan Rakei is a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist who has become a key cog in South London’s jazz and neo-soul scenes ever since he moved there from Australia in 2014.

Now, he’s bringing that sound to right here in Detroit with a show tonight at El Club, touring behind his new album called “Origin.”
