Author Kim Hunter has been involved in Detroit’s literary scene for decades.

Now, he’s getting into podcasting.

Hunter’s latest project, the Detroit Book Review podcast, is a monthly podcast that finds out what Detroiter’s are reading and what’s happening around the city from the lens of independent booksellers.

Along with Hunter, the show features three booksellers: Janet Webster Jones of Source Booksellers, Colleen Kramer of Book Beat, and Susan Murphy of Pages Bookshop.

CultureShift’s Amanda LeClaire speaks with Hunter to learn more.

You can listen to the debut episode of Detroit Book Review here.
