It’s Fat Tuesday across the U.S., the day before the beginning of Lent for Catholics.

 

Here in Metro Detroit, we simply call it ‘Paczki Day’ for those calorie-heavy, sweet Polish desserts that make their way into our offices and stomachs each year.

 

Eating a paczek is one thing, but pronouncing it is another.

 

CultureShift decided to go directly to the source for a tutorial, a real Polish person.
