Detroit Musician Stewart Francke Talks About Resilience and Getting Back on the Stage

After years of physical illnesses from leukemia to the partial removal of his lung, Stewart Francke is as positive about life and music as ever

Stewart Francke has been making music in Detroit for over 30 years producing 14 cds, authoring 2 books, and logging countless performances along the way. Also, along the way was one physical challenge after another, most recently 2 pulmonary embolisms that required part of his lung to be removed. He talks with Essential Music host, Ann Delisi, about his life and his return to the stage for “An Evening With Stewart Francke” in which he will not only play music and read from his book “What Don’t Kill Me Makes Me Strong”.
