United States Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, and a woman accusing him of sexual assault in 1982, are both expected to testify on Thursday about the allegations.

Since Christine Blasey Ford came out with her story of being assaulted at a party in high school, another woman came forward with a story of sexual impropriety while she and Kavanaugh were students at Yale University.

For his part, Kavanaugh says this is all just an elaborate attempt to smear his name and his credibility, and he says he won’t withdraw from the nomination process.
