Sam’s Jams 010: Slum Village - Hold Tight (Lost Remix)

It’s been 20 years since the release of the legendary Detroit hip-hop collective Slum Village’s Fantastic Vol. 2 — which featured many rap power players including Common and J. Dilla — the group has decided to release an alternate version of “Hold Tight” from the album featuring Q-Tip. The updated version includes crisper production as Q-Tip spits his verse over the oozing bass line provided by J. Dilla.
