The 2018 Mo Pop Music Festival returns to the west river front park in downtown Detroit this July

Bon Iver, St. Vincent and The National are the big headliners along with many upcoming acts.

Dan McGowan of The Crofoot Presents speaks with WDET’s Ryan Patrick Hooper to preview the Mo Pop lineup.

McGowan, who helps put the festival together, thinks this year is “the best line-up we’ve ever had.”

Jason Rogalewski from AEG Presents, another one of Mo Pop’s producers, also joins the show.

“It definitely feels like a step forward, which is what we wanted,” Rogalewski says. “We spent a little more, worked a little harder on the bands and it’s reflected in the line-up.”
