A Weighty Report: Kids are Growing More Obese

Pat Batcheller

A new study published this week in the journal “Pediatrics” reveals a trend growing in the wrong direction.

The lead author of the study is Duke University Associate Professor Asheley Skinner.

She tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that the results hold dire implications for both kids and the nation’s health care system.
