Detroit Free Press photographer Eric Seals is shooting his third Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea, taking photos of everything from bobsled to ski jumping.

Seals speaks with WDET’s Ryan Patrick Hooper about his experience at the games.

With quick turnarounds and very long days, photographers at the Olympics are essentially working around the clock.

“It’s an adrenaline rush,” says Seals. “This is my first winter games so everything is brand new.”

“Any chance you get to get paid and do what you love and go to a different country you’ve never been to before and experience new things…it always helps improve you career.”
