How to Keep WDET and Your Other Favorite News Sources in Your Facebook News Feed

The latest change in Facebook’s News Feed has users experiencing fewer updates from news sources, and more posts from friends and family.

But what if part of the reason you visit Facebook every day is to get the latest headlines from Detroit and around the world?

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you can ensure that WDET and your other favorite news sources are still a top priority in your News Feed.

iPhone Users:

1. Select the menu icon (☰) in the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. Scroll down and select “Settings.”

3. Select ”News Feed Preferences.”

4. Select ”Prioritize Who to See First.”

5. Choose the pages and user profiles you want to appear first in your News Feed. Selected pages will be marked with a blue and white star icon.

6. Once you’re finished, hit “Done” and your selections will be saved.
  

Android Users:

1. Select the menu icon (☰) in the bottom right corner of the screen.

2. Scroll down and select “News Feed Preferences.”

5. Once you’re finished, hit “Done” and your selections will be saved.
