There’s an unusual kind of karma at this week’s North American International Auto Show.

It’s the new car rental subscription service Carma Car…which operates kind of like a monthly phone plan.

Motorists pick a car, a monthly mileage plan and the rental is theirs. That is—except in Michigan.

Carma Co-founder Patrick Min tells WDET’s Bre’Anna Tinsley Michigan’s no-fault insurance law is preventing the company from bringing the service to its hometown.
