On tonight’s installment of the Progressive Underground, host Chris Campbell interviews the performance lineup of the upcoming BLACK WOMEN ROCK: Winter Warm-up taking place this Saturday, January 20, at PJ’s Lager House. BWR founder JESSICA CARE MOORE will touch down inside the WDET studios along with powerhouse vocalist STEFFANIE CHRISTI’AN, rapper/wordsmith MAHOGANY JONES, singer/songwriter IDEEYAH, guitarist/artist JACKIE VENSON, and NINA SOPHIA (of Nina & the Buffalo Riders).
It will be a night of empowerment, rock n’ roll vibes and activist thoughtstyle. The action happens from 8-10 pm EST on 101.9 WDET and wdet.org.
