Experts say U.S. automakers could face some potholes in 2018 with huge new demands for onboard digital devices and a likely slowdown in sales.

Detroit automakers are gearing up for one of their annual showcase events this month.

But experts say the 2018 North American International Auto Show could be a window into a season of change for car companies.

The CEO of the Ann Arbor-based Center for Automotive Research, Carla Bailo, tells WDET’s Quinn Klinefelter that automakers will face new digital demands and a slight decline in sales.
