Kids Ring in the New Year in Mount Clemens’ Never Never Land

Annual NYE celebration lets kids party before bedtime.

Downtown Mount Clemens will become Never Never Land Sunday so young people can celebrate New Year’s Eve.

New Year’s Eve in Never Never Land takes place in an around Mount Clemens’ downtown businesses. Michelle Weiss helps to organize the event. She said kids can partake in fantasy face painting, unicorn pony rides, a carless drive-in movie, train rides and much more.

“What this has created is a way for parents and grandparents to take their children out for an early new year’s event,” Weiss said.

The event starts at 4pm and ends with a Ball drop and fireworks at 9 pm.

A schedule is available on the Downtown Mount Clemens Facebook page.
