In the last week of 2017, Detroit Today talks with a number of Michigan natives who have had stand-out years.

Jessica Care Moore joins the program to talk about her year, her career, and her work as it moves into 2018.

I’m a black woman and unapologetically black,” says Care Moore. “I’m all about Detroit, not all about just new Detroit, I’m all about old Detroit and the Detroit that raised me.”
