On this weekend’s The Progressive Underground, host Chris Campbell bumps new tracks from Grooveman Spot, Osage, Keys n’ Krates, Paul Randolph, Van Ark, Teisha Marie, Portugal the Man, Ravyn Lenae (pictured) along with classic rare grooves from Neil Frances, Chic, Grover Washington Jr, Uku Kuut, Smoke City, Sade and Capital Peoples.  He also drops an atmospheric mix featuring the music of Nicolay, Marissa Guzman, and Galcher Lustwerk.  It’s a full show as the Progressive Underground explores the outer reaches of electronica through the genres of deep house, techno, future soul, nu-bossa, and rare grooves.  The action happens from 8-10 pm EST on 101.9 WDET and wdet.org.
