Congressman Dan Kildee on Trump, Dem Deal and Disaster Relief

Laura Weber Davis, WDET

Hurricane Irma is pressing down on the Caribbean Islands and due to make landfall with Florida by this weekend. There are already images of flattened islands and devastated neighborhoods. These pictures follow closely behind stories and images of parts of Texas flooded after Hurricane Harvey.

Congressman Dan Kildee, a Democrat from Flint Twp., joins Stephen Henderson on Detroit Today to talk about the roles the government and individuals play in disaster relief.
