The Downtown Detroit Partnership reports the results of an annual perception survey show people are feeling increasingly positive about the city.
Officials say nearly 4,000 people responded to the survey.
The CEO of the partnership is Eric Larson. He says the perceptions of residents and visitors help shape the programs the partnership creates for the area.
“So things like that are part of what ultimately comes out of the survey because it all tells us what areas there needs to be either greater concentration of effort better access, and tweaks to the program that we are ultimately doing,” Larson says.
The survey examined perceptions about safety and security, lighting and cleanliness, public transportation and more in Downtown Detroit.
