Gov. Rick Snyder announced a regional infrastructure pilot program in Detroit on Monday that will include a framework for statewide asset management.

The program would allow utility and transportation companies to share information regarding inventory and to better improve Michigan’s roads. The Michigan Department of Transportation will participate in the pilot.

Director Kirk Steudle spoke with WDET’s Bre’Anna Tinsley about the pilot program. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
